Frequently Asked Questions
Please use the booking form and provide as many details as possible about your tattoo request. Allow up to one week for me to review your submission and get back to you.
How do I book?
What does the booking process look like?
Once you submit a request, I will review it and reach out via text message, so please make sure your phone number is correct. Consultations are typically conducted over text, unless you prefer a virtual or in-person consultation.
After we discuss your design, I will provide a quote and available dates. A non-refundable deposit is required, determined based on the total cost of your quote.
The week before your appointment, you will receive a final design for approval. Once approved, no further changes can be made.
What does the day of the appointment look like?
Please review the pre-appointment guidelines before your session. You will be asked to complete a consent form prior to your appointment.
On the day of your session, you will be presented with a few size options to choose from. We will go over any questions you may have before starting. Once your tattoo is complete, it will be wrapped in Saniderm, unless otherwise noted.
Can I be allergic to the ink?
It is possible to have an allergic reaction to tattoo ink. If you are unsure, you can request an ink test prior to your appointment. There is a $25 fee for the test, which can be applied toward your booking.
All tattoos come with some level of discomfort, which varies depending on your pain tolerance. Fine line tattoos generally tend to hurt less than traditional tattoos. That said, some areas of the body may feel more sensitive than others.
Does it hurt?
Do you numb?
I do not provide numbing services. Numbing cream can alter the texture of the skin, which may affect how the ink penetrates. If you choose to use numbing cream before your appointment, please notify me in advance and apply it at least 30 minutes before your session.
All tattoos done by me are always free to touch up when you book a new appointment. If you are looking to schedule a touch-up only, without another tattoo, a fee of $50 applies.
Do you offer touch ups?
How long does it take for a tattoo to heal?
Plan for your tattoo to fully heal in about two weeks. If you have any trips planned during that time where you’ll be in the sun, it’s recommended to wait to get tattooed until after your trip.
Unless you are booking a group appointment, you are allowed only one guest. This ensures there is enough space in the studio and allows me to focus fully on your tattoo.
Can I bring a friend?
What happens if I need to cancel?
All deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel your appointment entirely, the deposit will not be returned.
If you need to reschedule, a 72-hour notice is preferred. Cancellations within 72 hours may require a new deposit to book a new date. I strive to be as flexible as possible because I understand that life happens. Clear communication helps, and we may be able to work something out, but I cannot guarantee exceptions.
