Pre-Appointment Guidelines

AT LEAST 8 HOURS BEFORE APPOINTMENT

Do not consume:

  • Alcohol

  • Coffee

  • Energy drinks

  • Anything containing caffeine

To help prevent excess bleeding, please avoid blood-thinning medications, including:

  • Ibuprofen

  • Advil

  • Aleve

  • Alka-Seltzer

  • Excedrin

  • Ex-Lax

  • Midol

  • Motrin

  • Nuprin

DAY OF APPOINTMENT

  • Drink plenty of water.

  • Wear a mask if you are recovering from a cold.

  • Eat a proper meal. Appointments can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on the size of the tattoo.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to lift or remove around the area being tattooed.

  • Plan to arrive on time, as there may be appointments scheduled before or after yours.
